Johnson County Emergency Management & Homeland Security (JCEMHS)is responsible for the coordination of countywide disaster planning initiatives necessary for effective disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Specifically, these initiatives include assessments, evaluation, compliance activities, plan development, and capability & capacity development. JCEMHS is continually engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure the necessary formal and informal systems, networks, agreements, and relationships are developed and maintained.
