Johnson County Emergency Management (JCEMHS)is
responsible for the coordination of countywide disaster planning
initiatives necessary for effective disaster mitigation, preparedness,
response, and recovery. Specifically, these initiatives include
assessments, evaluation, compliance activities, plan development, and
capability & capacity development. JCEMHS is continually engaged
with community stakeholders to ensure the necessary formal and informal
systems, networks, agreements, and relationships are developed and
maintained.
