hazards identified in the Johnson County Hazard Analysis and to address

the policies, roles and responsibilities for management of emergency
operations within the constraints of existing resources and operational
capabilities. Local Emergency Operations Plan
-
The
purpose of this plan is to provide Johnson County the overall framework
within which all entities of local government, volunteer agencies and
the private sector can operate in an integrated and coordinated fashion
before, during and after an emergency/disaster event. Local Emergency Operations Plan - .pdf As noted in the Base Plan of the Johnson County LEOP, the plan is reviewed on an on going basis (at least once a year) for any changes that need to be made. These changes are tracked and added as needed. If the change is considered critical, it is made immediately. If it is something that can wait until the regular update process, it is made at that time. Johnson County Emergency Management completes a thorough planning process to update the plan, in full, every four years to ensure timely and accurate information is included in the plan. The county currently has a State of Kansas approved plan. Please see the letter below from the Kansas Emergency Management Agency. |
