National Preparedness Month 2011
Johnson County in conjunction with Statewide and National efforts is supporting National Preparedness Month (NPM) 2011 during the month of September. In Johnson County, NPM 2011 will focus on changing perceptions about emergency preparedness and will help local citizens understand what it truly means to be Ready. Several activities, programs and events have been established to help meet this mission.

The Johnson County Radio Network brings public safety and emergency management topics to internet radio. Shows can be listened to live or via Podcast. JCRN will host several shows during National Preparedness Month. |
Johnson County has prepared an annual report called the "State of Preparedness". This report highlights all the programs, activities, and policies Johnson County departments and agencies maintain to ensure Johnson County is a Community Prepared! This report will be presented by the end of September 2011. |
